Everything else is part of update v2.6.0 - and there's quite a bit. Fight with aggressive skeleton Warriors, fast-attacking Skirmishers, sword and board Defenders, or scythe-wielding Reapers.
The $15 pack just gets you the Necromancer class and a handful of cosmetic bonuses. Players will be able to utilize the Necromancer’s Book of the Dead, an all-new ability for the class, allowing them to dominate the battlefield with deeper customization of their undead army than ever before. If you're just hacking around having fun, it's not necessary. If you want to be competitive and get to end game, you need to be either a Necro or a barb. Real answer: Necro fills a vital role in the meta. But there's something else coming to Diablo that day: patch version 2.6.0, and all the new stuff it brings. So I found the character quite worth it, personally.
